WELCOME TO THE WEBSITE OF THE CLASS OF 1953, HAGERSTOWN HIGH SCHOOL, HAGERSTOWN, MARYLAND.   PLEASE NOTE THAT NO MEMBER OF THIS CLASS ENDORSES ANY AD WHICH MAY POP UP ON THIS LOW COST WEBSITE.  THEY ARE UNAVOIDABLE IN THIS SETTING.  Each of the words in small print below the picture of HHS is a clickable new page on this site.  Be sure to click on each one.

   I  will maintain contact with Barbara Snyder Stouffer and JoAnn Chaney Swope and M.F. Kershner, about the contents of this site.   I mainly started with a list of all class members and what towns they're living in now, showing all known deceased members along with information about class reunions, and the annual Orlando, Florida event FOR ALL HAGERSTONIANS in January.    We'll be adding some other pictures and tidbits along the way.   My name is Eddie Murfin, living in Jacksonville, FL, and the original agitator in getting the Orlando event started in 2004.  Yes, I know, I didn't actually graduate with the class (but I was present at the actual graduation in Hagerstown), as I had moved to Florida that year and graduated from Edgewater High School in Orlando.   I did, however, attend with member of this class through Surrey Elementary School grades 2 through 6, South Potomac Junior High School grades 7 through 9, and HHS grades 10 and 11.   My family lived on Brown Avenue between Virginia Ave. and Summit Ave., 1942 - 1949, and on Guilford Ave. between Reynolds and Memorial, 1949 - 1952.    You may contact me at   THIS EMAIL.    for information or to add stuff to this website (like a good closeup picture of yourself taken within the last few years, and a short bio - PLEASE).
